Vale Sharon Torrens- Memorial Service Friday

Sharon Torrens' life will be celebrated by her close friends, family and colleagues, 11am Friday 14 January at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Clear Island Waters.

Sharon Torrens passed away on Sunday after a valiant fight against illness.

Sharon and Grant Torrens own the marina and brokerage at The Sovereign Islands and are known throughout the industry and the world as exemplary proponents of the marine industry.

They have one son, Mitchell who is also active in the business. Sharon was an accomplished waterskier who along with Grant, reached the top of the competitive and demonstration waterskiing circuit in the 70s and 80s in Australia and the US.

The family will hold a Celebration of Sharon's life, 11am Friday 14 January at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fairway Drive, Clear Island Waters. Those attending are invited to dress in shades of aqua, her favourite colour, in honour of Sharon's vibrancy and zest for life. Afterwards, there will be a wake at the Southport Yacht Club.
