A dead-reef at 1575 metres, dated to approximately 10,000-20,000 years during the last glacial period, located in the Huon Marine Reserve. The low, black mounds are dead masses of the reef-forming coral Solenosmilia. The yellow basket-like animals on the reef are filter-feeding seastars called brisingoids.
