Video: Jamie Mitchell wipes out on massive 60ft wave

'Kaenon Ambassador, Jamie Mitchell'    Kaenon.com

World-renowned waterman and long time Kaenon athlete, Jamie Mitchell sought to conquer what's estimated to be a 60 ft. wave in Belharra, France.

A major storm ripped through Europe bringing massive swells to the region. Along with some of the top big wave surfers, Jamie was front and center for one of the biggest waves of his life. Although he fell short, we think his insane wipeout is a top contender for Billabong's XXL Wipeout Award.

Watch the video below to get a glimpse of this monstrous wave and Jamie in action. Below, is an epic interview of Jamie conducted by none other than fellow waterman, Dave Kalama. Hear firsthand what it was like catching and recovering from this massive wave.
