The first US Sailing Junior National Championship event of the year concludes today on the waters of Hingham Bay. Forty teams are competing in Club 420s at the 2010 U.S. Junior Women's Doublehanded Championship, hosted by the Hingham Yacht Club (Mass.).

Seven races are in the books with two to go on Wednesday. The team of Kate Rackelly and Colleen Hackett, representing Mission Bay Yacht Club, took a commanding seven point lead on Tuesday by posting a pair of bullets, including second and third place finishes.

Two days of clinics over the weekend preceded the start of racing on Monday. Several of the top college and junior coaches in the country were on hand to share their expertise to all 80 participants. This championship is sponsored by LaserPerformance and supported by the C. Thomas Clagett Jr. Trust.
