T200 fixed-mount compact thermal camera ideal for smaller vessels

by Polly Tyekiff on 20 Feb 2013
T200 with Display Raymarine Sales
Raymarine welcomes the latest addition to its range of thermal night vision cameras in the form of the new T200 thermal camera. Detecting floating objects, navigation aids, other vessels, and even people in the water is easy using FLIR thermal imaging technology and now even small boats can see at night with the T200 Series fixed mount thermal night vision cameras. These excellent value fixed-mount thermal cameras bring ownership of genuine FLIR thermal imaging technology within the grasp of more boaters than ever before.

Engineered for smaller vessels, the T200 Series is both compact and lightweight. At just 7' high and 5.9' in diameter, the T200’s compact dimensions make it an ideal choice for smaller vessels where larger thermal camera models were previously considered impractical. The small footprint allows the T200 Series to be easily mounted on any cabin roof, radar arch or mast.

Easy to fit, the T200 has a simple two cable install using Power-Over-Ethernet and an analogue composite video output. The angle and direction of the single payload thermal camera is fixed at the time of installation. There is no need for a separate controller as the T200 is controlled directly from a Raymarine multifunction display (MFD) giving easy access to colour palettes, white hot/black hot, digital zoom, and camera configuration functions.

The T200 Series cameras are available in either 320 x 240 or 640 x 480 resolutions. The 320 x 240 resolution model features a wide-angle 13 mm lens and 2× digital zoom. The high-resolution 640 x 480 version offers enhanced long-range performance using a 25mm lens and 4× digital zoom capability. There is also a choice of NTSC or PAL versions of the T200.

The T200 can also be fitted as part of a larger T300 or T400 thermal camera system.

Key T200 Features

• Fixed mount camera system targets objects in the vessel’s path
• Lightweight, compact enclosure mounts easily on any vessel
• Superior FLIR thermal imaging technology
• User-selectable colour palettes

• Composite video output
• Controllable from Raymarine a, c and e-Series Multifunction Displays plus new gS Series
