Southern Spars take top three overall in the Region of Sardinia Trophy

'Audi Sailing Team powered by ALL4ONE - Audi MedCup Region of Sardinia Trophy 2011'    Stefano Gattini & Guido Trombetta-Studio Borlenghi

Southern Spars congratulate the Audi Sailing Team powered by All4One, and complete with a Southern Spars' TPT rig, for obtaining their first victory in an Audi MedCup event on 24 July.

After finishing second in two of the MedCup regattas last year, a win was exactly what Jochen Schuemann, Sebastien Col and the international crew needed at the Region of Sardinia Trophy in the Gulf of Cagliari.

Audi Azzurra Sailing Team - Audi MedCup Region of Sardinia Trophy 2011 -  Stefano Gattini & Guido Trombetta-Studio Borlenghi  

Audi Azzurra Sailing Team, also carrying a Southern Spars TPT rig package, finished second, nine points behind Audi All4One, which was their best overall finish in this 2011 Audi MedCup.

The fourth event of the MedCup series will be held in Cartagena, Spain from August 23rd to 28th.
