South West International Boat Show returns to Bay Area Houston

by Sail America on 10 Oct 2012
SW
The fifth annual South West International Boat Show, presented by Geico, makes its return to the South Shore Harbour Marina, Bay Area Houston, Thursday through Sunday, March 21st–24th, 2013. As the Southwest’s premier power and sailboat show and the largest in-water boat show in Texas, the South West International Boat Show is the only boat show in Texas endorsed by the national sailing association, Sail America.

Featuring over 400 boats, both in and out of the water, the South West International Boat Show includes such sailboat manufacturers as Jeanneau, Hunter, Beneteau, Catalina, and Dufour, alongside a variety of vendors with the latest accessories and technologies, boating and sailing gear, engines, marine electronics, products and services, gifts and apparel.

'Though they comprise one of the largest sailboat markets in the US, Texas and Southwest boaters are still looking to establish brand loyalties' says Peter Bryant, President of the South West International Boat Show. 'We are steering our marketing and advertising strategies toward that market to ensure this group of boaters is aware of the show’s scope of exhibitors and the seminar program. This is a significant group to explore.'

The boat show will feature a comprehensive schedule of hourly seminars across the four days of the show hosted by industry experts, free Discover Sailing sailboat rides and the Sail America Village, relocated this year to be nearer the docks and positioned in the center of the show. This is the largest selection of sailboats ever seen at a boat show in this region, with sailing-related exhibitors as well as sailing activities, seminars, interactive demos, and party.

Visit the South West International Boat Show website for exhibit space rates, an application, and further information regarding the 2013 show.
