Seawind Catamarans are excited to announce that Western Australian customers will now have a local sales representative to call on. Patrick Darling, an experienced multihull sailor and successful business man, is the newest member of ‘Team Seawind’ and looks forward to providing local sales and service for the WA market.

Patrick has an intimate knowledge of the Seawind range, having owned a Seawind 1000 for the past seven years and during that time he has cruised the WA coast extensively. Patrick is also has a new Seawind 1160 on order which is soon to launch and will be on display at the Mandurah Boat Show in October this year.

With the resources boom in WA, there has been strong demand on the Seawind range in the past 12 months with many future marina developments either underway or in the planning stages to cope with the growth.

There are currently about half a dozen Seawinds in Western Australia including several Seawind 1000s, a Seawind 1200 and a Seawind 1050 Resort in Coral Bay, most of which were delivered over the ‘Top End’ of Australia, a voyage of approx. 5,000 miles which passes through some of the most spectacular cruising areas in the World, including the Kimberley. Shipping is also available.

Seawind WA will be displaying the new 38ft Seawind 1160 and a Seawind 1000 at the Mandurah Boat Show from 11th to 14th of October 2007.

Sydney Hobart – Will they? Won't they?
Huey loves to shake things up, so here is some Maths to ponder whilst he makes up his mind... Now at just after 1110hrs AEDT on December 28, 2025, the leaders are just South of a place called Friendly Beaches. SHK Scallywag still leads, but now Master Lock Comanche is in second, with LawConnect in third.
