Rolex Sydney Hobart Race 2012 - The Mark Richard’s skippered Reichel Pugh 100 Wild Oats XI has been steadily extended her lead over the last 16 hours, at 5am she was 13 miles ahead of Syd Fischer’s Ragamuffin Loyal and sailing two knots faster. At current speed we can expect to hear a Green Cape declaration from Oats XI between 7 and 8am Peter Millard and John Honan's Lahana is another 18 miles back, sailing four knots slower than the leader. Peter Harburg's Black Jack, the 20 meter Canting keeler is hanging on; she is just five miles astern. Another seven miles astern is Stephen Ainsworth's Reichel Pugh 63 Loki, the 2011 handicap winner, now in in softer conditions east of Montague Island. Coming up fast is Matt Allen’s Volvo 70 IchiBan just nine miles in arrears ahead of Michael Hiatt's Living Doll. On IRC handicap Wild Oats XI enjoying the strongest conditions has taken the lead from the John Newbold’s Farr 40 Primitive Cool, the former AFR Might Rambler and then Living Doll, Black jack
