Soeben am Wolfgangsee im Heimatrevier abgeliefert steht die ' Quixie ' eine 20er Rennjolle aus dem Jahre 1936 wieder im vollen Glanz da.

Nach ca. 1300 Std. arbeit wurde die 8.5m lange und 1.8m breite Schönheit dem eigner in St.Gilgen wieder ausgehändigt.

Mit neuem Schwertkasten, Kielschwein, Deck und Gaffelrigg ist es nur ein kleiner Teil, welche die Lady ihr für ihr Facelift erhalten hat. Dazu brauchte es auch ne mega Portion liebevolle Handwerkskunst.

Die Werft von Sammy Smits aus der Schweiz hat sich dieser Herausforderung sehr gerne angenommen, hat sie doch nun beinahe 30 Jahren Erfahrung im Umgang mit Oldtimern.

Dadurch bezeichnet sie sich als Spezialitätenwerft um den Schiffen wieder ins neue Leben zurück zu helfen.
