Racing for Club and Inshore Yachts at 2010 SSORC

Middle Harbour Yacht Club has broadened the appeal of the Sydney Short Ocean Racing Championship (SSORC) by providing a harbour course on Saturday 27 November for club racers and inshore racing yachts.

Racing for Club and Inshore Racing Yachts at the 2010 SSORC:


• Seven Islands Championship adds to the tapestry of 2010 SSORC
• Harbour Course Saturday 27 November for Club Racers
• Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker Divisions

The starters gun is off at 1230 hours for the Seven Islands Race …. A Pursuit Race commencing with a Club House Start and Finish.

The race takes in Shark Island, Clark Island, Fort Denison, Goat Island, Cockatoo Island, Snapper Island, & Spectacle Island. Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker divisions will be available to all MHYC and visiting yachts from other clubs.

Competitors will have the opportunity to join in the post-race entertainment on the shore-side beach and reap the rewards from a pool of great prizes from Mount Gay Rum.
