Martin Baum - General Manager of Pantaenius AIMEX
Pantaenius, a global leader in superyacht insurance has confirmed support for the 2014 Australian Superyacht and Marine Export Industry Conference (ASMEX).

Pantaenius has been insuring yachts and resolving their claims around the world for more than 40 years. Over the years, Pantaenius has built up a formidable network of agents, surveyors and repairers. With over 80,000 yacht owners trusting Pantaenius for their insurance, the company is the largest yacht insurance provider in Europe and a remarkable market player worldwide. The international teams in the United Kingdom, Mediterranean, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Australia and America provide local advice and service in several national languages.

In a push to increase awareness of their Australian operation, Pantaenius sees the Australian Superyacht and Marine Export Industry Conference as a significant platform in which to profile their products and services to this market.

Pantaenius General Manager Martin Baum said 'We are impressed with the work Superyacht Australia undertakes to profile the capability of their industry globally. Australia has a lot to offer the global superyacht fleet and we as a key industry stakeholder are pleased to be able to support the Australian market'.

ASMEX is the key Australian industry conference organized by the Australian International Marine Export Group and Superyacht Australia. In 2014 the conference will be held on May 20-21 and staged at the InterContinental Resort Sanctuary Cove Queensland immediately before the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. This key Australian industry event will again attract key international and Australian stakeholders keen to discuss the future of the superyacht industry in this region.

MaryAnne Edwards CEO for Superyacht Australia commented 'Without the ongoing support of companies like Pantaenius events like the ASMEX conference would not go ahead. It is exciting for us that when global companies like Pantaenius enter the marine market in Australia and also make a commitment to support the industry in such practical ways'.
