Olympics 49er Final Results

The Spanish world champions Iker Martinez/Xavier Fernandez, with a seventh placing in the final race today won the gold medals in the 49er class with 67 points from Rodion Luka/George Leonchuk (Ukraine) who took the silver with 72 points while the bronze medals went to Chris Draper/Simon Hiscocks (Great Britain) 77.

Australian's Chris Nicholson and Gary Boyd were seventh overall.
