Offshore Sailing Today - Where We Are and Where We're Going.

A joint presentation of US-IRC, Storm Trysail Club, Larchmont Yacht Club and the Royal Ocean Racing Club with special speaker Peter 'Luigi' Reggio, PRO of the America's Cup and the Olympic Games.



A Yacht Racing Management Seminar has been scheduled for December 6, 2008 at Larchmont Yacht Club. Organized and sponsored by Storm Trysail Club, Larchmont Yacht Club and the US-IRC Foundation, this seminar is aimed at yacht clubs and race managers who organize events for yachts racing IRC, PHRF, and One Design. Day racing, distance racing, and ocean racing are all included. Owners and Crews are also encouraged to participate. The goal is to provide the latest information about IRC, share best practices and consider ways of improving racing and increasing participation.

With an impressive list of speakers including Andrew McIrvine, Commodore of the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC), Eddie Warden-Owen, Chief Executive RORC, Dan Nowlan (USSailing), Peter Reggio (PRO), Dick Neville (PRO) and many others, this seminar is set to be a great gathering to discuss the status of our sport and exchange ideas on and with Race Managers from around the country on how to increase participation.
