In Melbourne, the Westerly quadrant breeze climbed in to 25 knots and the seaway built with it. In the end, the final race of the day and the regatta was abandoned. New Zealand's, Greg Wilcox, who has been around the class for at least 30 years, was crowned the Interdominion Champion after a count back. Mark Jackson from BRYC took out the Australian title.
