Silver Mist and Limit have a close tussle just after the start on Day 2 of racing. - Huon Aquaculture Sailing South Regatta 2008 Jane Austin
The Roger Hickman skippered Limit, Tony Kirby's Patrice Six and Endorfin, skippered by David Kellett, enjoy close racing in the IRC division of the Huon Aquaculture Sailing South Regatta.

Local yachts Silver Mist (Andrew Sutherland) and Pisces (David Taylor) are also sailing consistently with Silver Mist currently leading PHS Division 1 ahead of Endorfin and Pisces.

Stephen Boyes's Wired has a commanding lead in the Farr 40 Division of the Sailing South Regatta following the disqualification from race one of race winner Voodoo Chile (Andrew Hunn/LLoyd Clark). Hughie Lewis's Euro Central protested Voodoo Chile after a collision on the start line of the first race of the regatta. With a second and a fourth in races two and three, Voodoo Chile has slipped to fourth overall on 13 points with Wired on 3 points.

The Farr 40 fleet is getting great one design racing experience as they sail in the newly created Farr 40 Division of the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania's Huon Aquaculture Sailing South Regatta.

While the five Hobart Farr 40s (Wired, Euro Central, War Games, POW and Voodoo Chile) are sailing in their own division, they are not sailing under Farr 40 One Design Class Rules.

The skippers will be keen to keep up the pressure on the final day of racing where high temperatures and moderate northerly winds are forecast.
