New Hanse 630e is a show stopper

Darting across the harbour, anchored in Pittwater, weaving around Barrier reef islands or lapping up the sailing of New Zealand, the German-built Hanse Yachts- undeniably the ‘Boat of the moment’ – attracts instant interest from boaties for its elegance, speed, ease of handling and contemporary touches.

Hanse Yachts have added yet another luxury model to their fleet of production yachts: the Hanse 630e is the new flagship and the largest yacht in their range. She was a finalist in this year’s ‘European Yacht of the Year’ awards. Built entirely of epoxy, its comfort and elegance will set new trends.

Hanse Yachts were introduced to Australia in October 1999 by Peter Hrones of Windcraft which is based at Pittwater. His goal was to find a yacht that was well built and finished, easy to sail short-handed, would offer excellent performance from a well-established design team and be well priced to compete in the market. Hanse won easily on all counts.

2006/2007 is shaping up to be the biggest year yet for Windcraft with 15 Hanse’s already sold in the last 6 months. They have sold 100 Hanses in just 6 years and agents are now established in Auckland, Mooloolaba and Perth.

The recently launched Hanse 630e has distinctive clean, modern lines with a low coach house with all lines captive under an immaculate teak deck. The flush hatches and covered lines mean that deck space is maximized.

‘With super yacht styling and super yacht features in a production boat, the new 630e will once again lead yacht manufacturers into new territories’ said Windcraft’s Damien Goff.

‘When making true comparisons, the Hanse 630e is incredible value as are all are the yachts.’

'Below deck our German design team has optimized the interior to reflect style and comfort that would only be found in the most impressive architecturally designed homes.’

The interior features substantial Corian bench tops for the galley and the head, island beds with lifting bed boxes, and settees with retractable leg rests. The styling is a unique combination of exterior minimalism and interior luxury.

Hanse Yachts are designed by Judel/Vrolijk & co, with partner Rolf Vrolijk the principal designer of 'Alinghi', America's Cup Winner in 2003 and the current ‘Alinghi’ which is competing at this moment in Valencia, Spain.

All Hanse Yachts are certified by Germanischer Lloyd, noted as one of the highest standard approvals in Europe and a CE certification to 'Ocean A'.
