New Caledonia Match Race starts in low wind

New Caledonia Match Race Christian DUBOIS
Eleven teams engaged in the second New Caledonia Match Race. The event took place in Nouméa New Caledonia.
In attendance were Scott Barnes from the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, Klad Haushild form the Noosa Yacht and rowing Club, Pierre Pennec from La Rochelle and nine teams from New Caledonia.

Twelve matches today were run in very low and change wind. It was hard for sailors and race the committee but all was very good.
Today and tomorrow, will be the first round robin. Tomorrow night we will know who will be going into the quarter final.
