The Notice of Race (NOR) for the 2009 Melges 32 East Coast Championship (ECC), happening May 15-17, hosted by the American Yacht Club (AYC) in Rye, New York is now available. In addition, 2009 ECC Online Registration is open for what will be one of the best events for the International Melges 32.

'Sailing in Rye, N.Y. during the month of May is really quite wonderful. Perfect for the Melges 32. The American Yacht Club is conveniently located about 20 minutes away from La Guardia airport, so this event is an simple trip for out-of-towners,' commented Ed Tillinghast, owner of the Melges 32 Dark & Stormy. 'Making this event more worthwhile, are the warm-up opportunities that extend well in advance of the main event. The American Yacht Club has a great, back-to-back weekend regatta Spring series that the fleet is invited to enjoy. And, immediately prior to the ECC, North Sails will be holding one of it's very famous Speed Clinics featuring Harry Melges, Steve Benjamin, Rodrigo Meireles, Daniele Cassinari and Dave Scott.'

The Spring Series takes place at the AYC on April 25-26, then again on the following weekend of May 2-3, 2009. AYC Spring Series Online Registration as well as the NOR for the series is also available.

North Sails has committed to delivering an educational, two-day Speed Clinic on May 13-14. Learn from the experts at North that can make your team sharper and faster than ever. Here is your chance to take your program to the next level. Download The North Sails Speed Clinic PDF for full curriculum details and how to attend.

Melges 32 competitors are reminded that IM32CA Crew Declarations are due by Friday, April 24, 2009. Early entry ends on May 1, 2009.
