Manson Anchors to show underhull anchoring system at METS2012

Manson Anchors will show their underhull anchoring system at METS2012 Manson Anchors www.mansonanchors.com

Manson Anchors and Bowmaster are again exhibiting at METS2012, in the same location with the New Zealand companies, Hall 2 stand 02.222

After a great show in Monaco and confidence building (albeit windy and wet) show in Fort Lauderdale, Manson's Ned Wood says they are very much looking forward to the METS show for 2012.

The key new Superyacht product is the Submarine Anchor, which is an underhull deployment system for Superyachts. The anchors stow on the centreline of the hull under the water and the system aligns the anchor on retrieval.

The system was debuted the system in Monaco and already it has been installed on a 100ft racing Maxi with two other builds in progress for 40m plus boats. One a motorboat, one a sailing yacht.

Manson has a demonstration model of the system shown in the image. This model is very effective in showing the simplicity of the system and Wood encourages anyone needing an underwater anchoring system to come to the stand and have a look. The system is all Patent protected and Manson have received some great feedback from Naval Architects and Project Managers at both Monaco and FLIBS.

For the retail market the new Manson Boss anchor has gone well this year and provided a great compliment to the Manson Supreme Anchor. They continue to grow significantly in sales worldwide after a very strong Annapolis Super Sail show.
