Laser Masters Worlds - Action shots and results from Hyeres

The 2014 Laser Masters Worlds are taking place in Hyeres, France. Check out the results and these action shots captured by photographer Thom Touw.

In the Standard Apprentice, Poland’s Maciej Grabowski leads with eight points total. In second is Greece’s Adonis Bougiouris with 10 points and third is New Zealand’s Matt Blakey with 22 points.

In the Standard Master fleet, we have Australia’s Brett Beyer out front with 13 points with The Netherlands’ Arnoud Hummel not far behind on 15 points. Coming in third is German Andreas John with 34 points after six races.

Over in Standard Grand Master, the UK’s Nick Harris leads having 14 points total followed by Peter Vessella (USA) with 25 points. Aussie Gavin Dagley is in third with 21 points.

For the Radial fleet, Kiwi Michael Keeton leads with nine points total. Second and third respectively are Australia’s Jeff Loosemore with 43 total points and Great Britain’s Terry Scutcher with 19. Vanessa Dudley from Australia is well placed to defend her 2013 title.

Heading the Great Great Master/4.7 fleet is Aussie Stephen Walsh on six points total with fellow Australian Mark Bethwaite in second on 11 points. Coming in third is Canadian John Edwards Dawson with 21 points total.
