Hobie 14 and Dragon Worlds day 2, Tiger and Wild Cat Worlds day 1

The day commenced with a nice 10-12 knots sea breeze building to 20-25 knots in the afternoon. The Hobie 14, Tiger and Wild Cat completed four races while the Hobie Dragoon completed three races.

Hobie 14 Oliver Stoltenberg (Ger) has an eight point lead over Georgia Warren-Myers (Aus) with Dan Berg (Can) a further one point behind. When the breeze built in the afternoon Arnaud Thieme (Fra) and Fletcher Warren-Myers (Nzl) shared the honours.

Tom Heinrich (Ger) and Lea Selin Zisler (Ger) started theie worlds with a third place and since then have won every race. Brandon Wijtenburg (Rsa) and Todd Fisher (Rsa) have sailed consistently to maintain second place.

The Hobie Tiger and Wild Cat hit the water for the first time today. The Hobie Tigers have Robbie Lovig (Aus) and Andy Dinsdale (Fra) have starting the championships well with a second as their worst. Former Hobie 16 World Champion father and son team Blaine and Peter Dodds (Rsa) are followed by former Hobie 14 World Champion and another father and son team of Allan and Daniel Lawrence (Rsa all close on points.

The first Hobie Wild Cat Championships Emeric Dary (Fra) and Maxime Blondeau (Fra) started the day with a second and then fired off three first places. Daniel Paysen (Ger) and Nico Heinrich (Ger) sailing constsantly are second. With former youth champions Daniel and Nicolaj Bjornholt (Den) a further one point behind.

Racing continues tomorrow with Hobie Tiger on the media course with live streaming form 11am.
