Loic Bacquer/Yannick Oeduzzi (FRA) are second on countback, the two French teams on an equal seven points in some close racing at Mornington Yacht Club.
Italy fills the next two places, with Giorgio and Daniele Catta in third with eight points and Stefano Cherin/Matteo Velicogna fourth on 11 points.
Elise Rechichi/Tessa Parkinson have done an exceptional job to be best placed in fifth overall, to lead the Australian Open and Womens section. Brothers James and Adam Garnaut are next best placed in seventh for second Australian overall and Nathan Wilmot/Malcolm Page tenth for third Australian team.
Current World 420 champion, Nathan Outteridge, with his crew Iain Jensen are next best placed Australians in 12th overall to be fourth Australian.
Three races were completed overnight, finishing late, with Mornington Club officials hoping to get a further three races in today, which may not eventuate, as lack of wind delayed racing this morning, and at the time of writing, only one race had been completed.
