Equipment for US 2010 ISAF Youth World Qualifier

US SAILING’s Olympic Sailing Committee announced today the equipment for the 2010 US SAILING International Sailing Federation (ISAF) Youth World Qualifier, which will be held January 16-18, 2010 at Clearwater Yacht Club in Clearwater, Florida. All entrants are required to bring their own boats.
Competition will be held in eight events, using the following equipment:
Singlehanded boys: Laser Radial
Singlehanded girls: Laser Radial
Doublehanded boys: International 420
Doublehanded girls: International 420
Open multihull: SL16
Boys boards: RS:X
Girls boards: RS:X
Open skiff: 29er
The winner of each event will receive invitations to represent the United States at the 2010 Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship in Istanbul, Turkey, July 8-17, 2010. The Notice of Race for the 2010 ISAF Youth World Qualifier will be posted after the 2009 US SAILING ISAF Youth World Qualifier, which will be held January 17-19, 2009.
