Ensign Ship Brokers is preparing to welcome the next Ensign 50 to Australia - another order means a brand new vessel will be arriving in Australia around late September.

The 50 foot aft cabin, built by Hershine in China, comes with two 600hp Cummings diesel engines with a maximum speed of 28 knots.

Ensign broker Peter Moloney just returned from a trip to China to oversee the build of the customised Ensign 50.

'The Ensign 50 is a such a versatile vessel. The hand-built teak interior means the owner can choose from a myriad of layouts to suit their individual needs; for example they can have a two or three bedroom layout, galley up or down, hard top or canvas, to name a few options,' Mr Moloney said.

'The owners of the new Ensign 50 customised everything on the boat including the wood colour, curtains, bedspread, bathtubs, basins and faucet fittings.'

The Ensign 50 is fully-equipped with state-of-the-art electronics and appliances such as washer and dryer, microwave and a queen size walk-around bead in the aft cabin.

Ensign’s commitment to versatility means the Ensign 50 is equipped to perform a multitude of tasks, from cruising to fishing or weekend getaways.

Hershine is the best at what they do, producing high-quality motor yachts at an extremely competitive investment level.

Ensign secures the purchase on an Ensign 50 with the most encompassing warranty and promise to ensure that after-sale service is like no other you have experienced.

Ensign 50 owner Eric Roth is an enthusiast about his Ensign 50 and the service he received from Ensign.

'From the commencement of construction to completion we have been thrilled with the cooperation and expertise shown to us at all times,' Mr Roth said.

'There was never a moment when Ensign did not make the time to discuss changes or alterations from the original design, which ultimately improved the end result. We have had several other locally made boats and I can suggest that the quality of this imported boat exceeds our previous boats.'
