30 September 2011:
Day 3 in Nice
A bit of Groundhog Day here in Nice. Again very light winds never getting above 5 knots with some big holes on the race course.
Today was the first day of the Stadium Racing and with the course within 100m of the shore it is very tight. The venue would be great if we only had some more wind!
We sailed a better day again today notching ip some good results early and making a few silly mistakes towards the end of the day. However it was a good enough day to elevate us another 2 places up the leader board to now be sitting in 7th. Still not great but a lot better than where we were after the first day.
With a further two days of Stadium Racing and winds as light as the last two days there are still plenty of opportunities.
