Video from Higher Ground competing in the 2012 Coastal Classic

Starting under jib and close to shore provided a non-dramatic gybe under North Head while keeping up with boats under gennaker after calamities with some of their gybes.

The fractional gennaker went up off Rangi light for it to ditch after 10 minutes when the halyard broke but then found the No.3 headsail adequate in the strong gusts.

Getting the gennaker up on the topper later on kept up speeds before changing between the No.3 and jib top then No.2 for the final run in to Russell.

Higher Ground passed Cape Brett at 20.00hrs to finish at 22.17hrs for 16th on line and handicap.
