The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race fleet will arrive in Port Antonio’s Errol Flynn Marina in Jamaica from tomorrow afternoon, Saturday 17 May, as Race 12: The Spirit of Jamaica Chase enters the final 200 miles of its tightly fought dash.
The Race 12 finish line is the Folly Point Lighthouse, just off the tip of the Folly Peninsula in Port Antonio, on the north east of Jamaica’s coastline.
Teams will arrive into the Errol Flynn Marina approximately 45 minutes after crossing the finish line, passing the scenic white sands which surround the marina (see photo) before receiving a very Caribbean welcome reception from local Jamaican drummers and dancers.
