Cleveland Race Week - 68 strong fleet for PHRF Offshore Series

Cleveland Race Week came to a close after tendays with 68 boats competing in the PHRF Offshore Series. The 'Big Boat' portion of the regatta commenced Thursday night with beautiful breeze on Lake Erie, and continued Friday night with lighter air. Both Saturday and Sunday’s races took place under sunny skies, warm temperatures and southerly winds around 10 knots. All Classes were able to complete seven or eight races each.

The winners in the 10 Classes are:

PHRF Spin A: Flat Stanley, John McSweeney, 1-[4]-1-2-2-1-1-4 (12 points)
PHRF Spin B: Fever, William Odell, 2-2-2-2-1-[8]-1 (10 points)
PHRF Spin C: Overkill, Tom McNeill, 1-[2]-1-1-1-2-1 (7 points)
PHRF Spin D: It, Jim Sminchak, 1-[4]-2-1-1-1-1 (7 points)
PHRF Spin E: Hardtack, George Raynor, 1-1-1-1-1-1-[6/DNS] (6 points)
PHRF Spin F: Breezin', Rich Galaska, [4]-2-1-1-1-3-3-1 (12 points)
JAM A: Bonafide, Dave Krotseng, [1]-1-1-1-1-1-1 (6 points)
JAM B: Ancient Mariner, Vilnis Ciemins, 1-1-2-1-[4]-3-2 (10 points)
JAM C: Vanquish, Kim Oleski, 2-2-1-1-[3]-1-2 (9 points)
Tartan 10: Cracker, B Sackett, [12/RET]-1-2-3-1-3-2-2 (14 points)
