Christmas comes early with a NEW Beneteau Oceanis 48

by Sarah Henry on 24 Dec 2013
Oceanis 48 Sarah Henry
Arriving just in time for Christmas, the Tasmanian owner of a new Oceanis 48 has taken delivery of the ultimate family cruiser, the perfect Christmas present!

Travelling to Sandringham Yacht Club for the boat handover the week before Christmas, the boat goes straight to work as the family stay in Melbourne and spend Christmas aboard.

Since arriving in early December the boat’s been at Sandringham being fitted with all the necessary extras to help create a memorable Christmas festive season. Complete with BBQ it sounds like the prawns will be on the barbie this Christmas Day and the corks will be popping!

The Oceanis 48’s impressive owners suite has a separate head and shower compartment and the large cockpit and transom space is ideal for Summer comfort.

The custom fitted fully integrated wireless navigation and entertainment package and bespoke covers package is a result of careful planning. The unique covers package was an evolution of Aussie Boat Covers, Neil Hancock’s award winning designs. Closely developed between the owner, David Beck and Neil Hancock it’s resulted in a complete and versatile set of covers, providing various options and creating an addition ‘outdoor room.’

We hope Santa finds the family on the new boat, we’re sure he will, we think he’s fitted with Yellowbrick Tracking aboard the sled these day!!!

After Christmas the boat will cruise south for some Summer Holidaying on the Peninsula before heading to its new home at the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania.

Be sure to keep an eye out for her and say hello. Happy Sailing Sundance Marine
