Changed boating conditions for Shoalhaven river festival

Boaters are reminded changed conditions will be in place on the Shoalhaven River tomorrow afternoon for the safe running of the Shoalhaven City Council river festival.
Changed conditions will be in place from midday to 5.30pm from the Nowra Sailing Club just downstream of Nowra Bridge to the Shoalhaven Rowing Club at Paringa Park upstream, and out to 150 metre from the northern foreshore.
Shoalhaven City Council have an exclusive aquatic licence for the Shoalhaven River Festival and Roads and Maritime Services boating safety officers will be in place to assist manage the event.
The event area will be marked by nine large red buoys and an access channel will be provided to allow boaters to travel from east to west along the northern shoreline and to launch at Greys Beach boat ramp.
To ensure the safe running of the event, vessels not involved in event must not enter the exclusive use area unless authorised by a boating safety officer or a police officer.
