Barre de flèchecassée sur DLB - Yoann Richomme va réparer et repartir

Quelques minutes après le lancement de l'étape 2 (385 milles) de la Generali Solo à destination de Beaulieu sur Mer, DLBC a été victime d'une avarie. Yoann Richomme est arrivé il y a quelques minutes sur les pontons du port de Barcelone. C'est l'embase de la barre de flèche bâbord (deuxième étage) qui a cassé. Les opérations sont en cours à bord de DLBC pour changer la pièce.


« C'est arrivé pendant le bord de près du parcours banane, confiait Yoann Richomme à son arrivée. J'ai entendu le bruit avant de constater qu'elle était cassée. J'ai eu de la chance de ne pas perdre le mât. Ce type de casse est assez rare, mais c'est la même qui est arrivée à Claire Pruvot pendant la Solitaire. Dès que la réparation est terminée, je reprends la mer. Si ça ne prend pas cinquième heures, ça va. De toute façon, cette nuit, ils vont avoir de la molle ».

Yoann Richomme n'est pas démoralisé. En compagnie de Donatien Carme, son préparateur et avec l'aide de Matthieu Hacquebart, le préparateur de Generali, les opérations de remplacement de la barre de flèche ont tout de suite débuté. La réparation devrait durer une bonne heure au moins avant que le skipper de DLBC ne reprenne le cours de l'étape 2.
