Rhody Regatta raises $13k for RI Meals on Wheels
The event sent a sailboats fleet on a challenging 18nm circumnavigation of Conanicut Island The International Yacht and Athletic Club (IYAC) presented a check for $13,000 to Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island after tallying donations from competitors in its 2026 Rhody Regatta.

Francesca Clapcich starts The Ocean Race Atlanic
The only female skipper in the fleet is joined by co-skipper Alberto Bona Italian-American offshore sailor Francesca Clapcich and her crew crossed the startline of The Ocean Race Atlantic this morning at 1000 EDT / 1400 UTC / 1600 CEST in their foiling, 60-foot IMOCA raceboat, 11th Hour Racing.
