Emirates Team New Zealand and the Italian Challenger, Luna Rossa were out race training again, off Auckland's North Shore. Italian Challenger did this spectacular fly-past the Sail-World camera boat.

Winds were recorded in the early afternoon as averaging 20kts gusting 25kts at the entrance to Auckland harbour, and 25kts average gusting 30 at the outer end of the 2000/2003America's Cup course area.
