土耳其伊斯坦布尔,2014年1月30日- 七年前,两个年轻的美国帆船发烧友因为一部迪士尼电影相遇,一起梦想将来有一天他们将组队参加世界上最艰难的远洋帆船赛——沃尔沃环球帆船赛。

今天,显然这个长久以来的志愿已经成为现实。在Alvimedica的故乡伊斯坦布尔,Alvimedica队宣布参加2014-15年沃尔沃环球帆船赛。

马克·托维尔遇到查理·恩莱特时只有18岁,大他四岁的查理和他一样是迪士尼帆船电影《晨光》的年轻演员。这部纪实电影讲述了一次跨越太平洋的航行,并邀一些远洋航海中的大腕一起完成。

现在29岁的恩莱特说,'我们是在试镜时遇到的,但我们都认为拍这个电影是我们的梦想的开始,我们的梦想就是沃尔沃环球帆船赛。'

'在《晨光》拍摄现场,有很多参加过沃尔沃环球帆船赛的老将做我们的教练,比如斯坦·哈尼,迈克·桑德森,杰里·柯比。在顶级航海帆船赛这个领域,他们为我们建立了很好的基础。'

'曾经一度我们的设想很清晰,也是我们做任何努力的动力。'托维尔说,他曾和恩莱特一起成立过全美海洋队。'
