In Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympics Sunday's outlook is positive with four-five knots predicted from three sources. The competition was scheduled to conclude on Saturday 23 August with a non discardable, single race for all fleets on the agenda. The pre-planned reserve day will be utilised to ensure the completion of the regatta. Sunday's outlook is positive with four-five knots predicted from three sources with gusts of seven, nine and even up 12 knots possible. Moderate to heavy rain is also on the forecast.

Lake Jinniu was plagued with little to no wind on the fourth day of competition at the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games. With light winds forecasted ahead of the day the hard working race committee were always facing an uphill battle and a long wait on the water for anything to materialise.

No Techno 293 racing was possible with a light fickle breeze on their race area not reaching the required limit for the 20 boys and 21 girls to race.

The four Techno 293 and Byte CII fleets played to a crowd of 2,000 at the Youth Olympic Games. The four Techno 293 and Byte CII fleets played to a crowd of 2,000 at the Youth Olympic Games as racing commenced on Lake Jinniu in Nanjing, China. Sailing tickets have completely sold out for the Youth Olympic Sailing Competition and with a full view of Race Area A the crowd witnessed three Techno 293 Boys and Girls races and a single Byte CII race towards the end of the day.
