Heat 6 AEG 3 Buoy Handicap Series -- Asko Frank Quealey /Australian 18 Footers League http://www.18footers.com.au
18 footers Race 6 AEG 3 Buoy Handicap Series on Sydney Harbour was won emphatically by ASKO, Marcus Ashley-Jones, Ash Rooklyn, and Geronimo Harrison.

Asko took the lead early on the first beat to the three buoys, which due to this skiff's 8 min handicap, and its nearest Red Buoy turn mark, established a huge break over the fleet, which they controlled to the finish. With ASKO so far in front, all interest turned to the battle for second and third on the Podium. Mojo Wines, with James

Dorran, assisted by a cameo appearance by Archie Massey and Mike Mackenzie was always in front of the pack which chased the leader. This pack included, overall

AEG Series Leader Pure Blonde, and The Kitchen Maker with fill in helm, Jimmy Francis keeping things interesting. At the death, DeLonghi Rabbitohs, Simon Nearn,

Keagan York, and evergreen Paul E Williams pounced to challenge Mojo Wines for second place with a gybing dual right at the finish line going to Mojo Wines.

Pick the Podium Congratulations and Bragging Rights go to James Williams for getting two picks right thanks to DeLonghi Rabbitohs third place at the death.

James will receive a pair of cool www.barzoptics.com San Juan Floater sunnies for his selection ability.
