by Sail-World UK Team on 15 May 2010
In a week where the hung parliament was seemingly all everyone could talk about, our very own Ben Ainslie is currently second his Team Origin in the Audi TP52 Series, which is currently being held in Cascais, Portugal.

Joe Woods and Peter Rogers’ teams are also doing the UK proud held first and second placing after three races in the Audi Melges 32 European Championships being held in Cagliari.

Good luck to all our guys!

Latest news, Raymarine taken over by US thermal imaging company FLIR.

Sail-World has already started to release its detailed series on the Olympic Commission report, with some of it's recommendations possibly being implemented at the 2012 Olympics in Weymouth.

The weekend weather - A large area of high pressure centred to the west of Portugal will slowly drift northwards, extending a ridge across the United Kingdom at times. Strong south-westerly winds, force six or more are expected to develop across Sole, Lundy, Fastnet, Irish Sea and Plymouth during Saturday evening and overnight into Sunday morning. Saturday is shaping up to be a nice, dry day with temperatures reaching 15 degrees in some places. Showers on Sunday.

Have a wonderful weekend.
