The Aegean Rally 18 May - 02 June 2012

The Unique combination of the Greek islands between Samos and Kos and the Mediterranean coast of Turkey between Bodrum and Marmaris provide the backdrop for this amazing sailing experience, the Aegean Rally 18 May - 02 June 2012.

Greece and Turkey straddle the invisible border between Europe and Asia yet along the coast a Mediterranean lifestyle is common to both countries. Founders and Directors of Mariner, Trevor and Maggie Joyce lived in Greece for many years and sailed these waters extensively - so their knowledge makes this cruising experience complete.

As usual the program includes a little spirited competition in a series of short races, each followed by a social occasion that will feature the local cuisine and wines.

Late spring along this coast is special with the greenery and wild flowers still in abundance. However, expect daily maximum temperatures in the high 20’s with gentle north westerly winds pushing you along the track.

*Mariner is offering the opportunity to win free flights to the Aegean Yacht Rally for two people by making a booking before 1 August 2011.
