Sailing - anchoring
by Sail World on 24 Nov 2005
From Wendy, Jervis Bay: The time to find out if your anchor is going to drag is when you put it down, not 12 hours later in the middle of the night. After putting the anchor down, we always put the boat into reverse at 2000 revs. Since we’ve been doing that, we’ve slept a whole lot better, and we haven’t dragged once at night. (I'm keeping my fingers crossed)
