2012 MG14 NSW State Titles Rohan Nosworthy
The Australian MG class usually attracts sailors from all walks of life, and the NSW State Titles this weekend March 16-18 are no different - but this time the standard promises to be hotter than ever!

Ten time NS14 Australian Champion, Peter Vaiciurgis of Coffs Harbour, will be sailing a brand new Mark Thorpe Tiger design hull with Tim Dunstan. Can Peter tame the higher performance MG and repeat his successes with a spinnaker this time?

Challenging and no doubt pushing PV to the limit for the titles, will be past NS14 and MG National and State champions Hugh Tait and Tara McCall. Multiple time VS champ Ian Richardson from Port Kembla has entered his 3 family skiffs, and let's not forget previous MG Champs Greg Roche, Gary Reeves and Len Mancell - who always keep the winners honest and take their fair share of the limelight!

Emerging MG powerhouse, the Queens Lake Sailing Club on the idyllic mid-north coast of NSW, will also field some strong contenders with ample local knowledge.

2007, 2011 and 2012 National MG champion Rohan Nosworthy sailing with Sophie Holt, Australian MG Masters champs, Warren Sykes and Andy Maclaughlin, and the wily tacticians Mark and Martina Holt will be sailing their newly restored and refined Aero 6 which will definitely surprise the fleet.

The 2012 MG NSW State Titles are proudly supported by Harken, Mid-Coast Sails, Rydges Hotels, Barracouta Sails, BMD Surfboards and North Haven Liquor Store.
