The RCYC’s New York Yacht Club Invitational Cup teams are heading to Newport for a final training session August 23-25. The Team will train against the Larchmont Yacht Club’s NYYC entry.

A modified set of sails will be used to closely resemble the sails that will be provided to all the teams at the NYYC Invitational Cup, and the rig tensions will be set as per the Invitational event. North Sails’ Rodrigo Meireles will provide feedback and drills for the team throughout the weekend. The New York Yacht Club Invitational Cup presented by Rolex will be hosted by the NYYC in Newport, Rhode Island at its Harbour Court Clubhouse.
