Qingdao weather - 2008 Olympic sailing Day One

by Sail-World on 9 Aug 2008
Predictwind data for Race time Day one PredictWind.com www.predictwind.com
At 1300 local time today, the 2008 Beijing Olympic sailing regatta starts on Course A, just off the Qingdao Harbour rock wall.

Today the two PredictWind models vary slightly in wind speed at that time, one expecting 7-9 knots, the other 10-12 knots, but after all the talk of a null wind regatta, sailors and organisers alike will no doubt settle for either number set.

This morning the sea fog is light and little pressure bands can be seen all the way out to the algae booms. The Old City image was taken just on sunrise.
