Push the Boat Out 2014 - Be part of it!

by Susie NationGrainger on 1 Nov 2013
Papercourt Sailing Club celebrate Push the Boat Out in 2013. Susie NationGrainger
In Push the Boat Out in 2013, thousands of people and over 100 clubs from Salcombe to Largs ‘pushed the boat out’ and you can be part of it too in 2014.

Over the weekend of 17-18 May, the RYA will once again be running RYA Push Boat Out with clubs, centres and marinas across the UK offering a range of ‘have a go’ and taster sessions for you to experience sailing and windsurfing.

'Push the Boat Out was a huge success last year and it was fantastic to see so many clubs taking part, encouraging their local communities to get out on the water and showing people just how easy it is to get involved in the sport' said RYA Club Support Advisor Jackie Bennetts.

'This year we hope it will be even bigger and better with more clubs signed up and even more people of all ages and abilities finding out why sailing is such a fantastic sport'.
