Hugo Boss is alongside in Wellington for 48 hours while repairs are carried out ot their rudder system. Race leader Paprec-Virbac 2 continues to power away, with a lead of over 600 miles on the Boss.

It's been a fast night for the four boats at sea in the Barcelona World Race. Paprec-Virbac 2 is already down to 46-degrees south latitude after coming up north for the Cook Strait scoring gate.

She's made good 383 miles over the past 24 hours, not wasting any time in getting back into Southern Ocean race mode. In fact, the only boat further south on the 06:00 report is Educacion sin Fronteras who made good nearly 350 miles over the past 24 hours as the trailing boat in the fleet continues to impress in the first Southern Ocean leg.

Already alongside the quay in Wellington is Hugo Boss, who pulled into the pit lane to make repairs to their rudder systems. But they're also taking advantage of the 48-hour minimum stop imposed to attack other niggling issues on the boat - when they rejoin the race it will be at 100%, with full intention of chasing down Paprec-Virbac 2.
