New Plymouth Yacht Club celebrates 75 years

The New Plymouth Yacht Club is celebrating 75 years over Labour weekend.

The club was established in 1939 and is the biggest yacht club on the West Coast of North Island The yacht club is still very strong with great numbers of junior sailors racing each Saturday morning also afternoon sailing for the seniors is still popular with the Hartley 16 and Paper Tiger Classes looking to have good numbers again this season

We are looking forward to catching up with past members and sharing stories from their time spent at the club.

The Jubilee programme of events is listed below:

Friday 24th October 2014 - Registration/Meet & Greet @ Yacht Club - 6.30pm
Saturday 25th October 2014 - Reunion Photos @ Yacht Club - 11.00am
- Club Sailing - 1.00pm
- Jubilee Dinner - 6.30pm
Sunday 26th October 2014 - Jubilee Sailing - 1.00pm
- After Sailing Socialising - 3.00pm
