Maintenance - cleaning, topsides at the waterline

Cleaning topsides at the water line has always been a question of hanging a line over the edge of the boat to cling onto while scrubbing. I have now found the use of a suction cup beats that hands down, and you don’t have to yell at the crew on board to get them to move the line. Just a tip, though, attach the suction cup above the waterline, not on the antifoul!
Also, a tip we learnt from the super yachts is that vinegar is great for cleaning the topsides and making them shine between polishes.
