Last Chance . . . Thailand + Your Fireball = World

You thought it was to late! well this is your final chance to grab a container spot for the 2008 Fireball Worlds Championships.

Just two spots remain in the final UK container for this years Championship. Taking place in March at the fabulous Royal Veruna Yacht Club, Pattaya, Thailand. If you haven't a boat we also have a helm who is looking for a crew!

If you want to join in and spend 2 weeks sailing in the sun and you want to get a boat, then go to the UK Fireball site now as there are a number of boats for sale. But be quick as boats will be departing later in January.

In addition to strong contingents from the UK and Australia, boats from France, Canada, Japan, Ireland, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Belgium and Slovenia are expected, as well as the local Thai fireballers, and it is hoped others from Singapore and Malaysia. Numbers are expected to climb over the next few months to around 80 boats.

The practice is over and all is set for the main event in New Zealand The practising is over at the PredictWind A-Cat Worlds, and the race committees are tuned like fine violins. The wonderful volunteer shore crews are poised like greyhounds in the slips, for it's 'all stations to general quarters!', on Tuesday.
