Laser 4.7 Open Meeting at HISC

by Sail-World.com/uk on 15 Sep 2008
Tom Britz of Royal Lymington YC put together a very consistent series to win the Laser 4.7 Open Meeting held at HISC over the weekend.

Overnight leader David Grant, of Restronguet SC, started the second day with a 17th which destroyed his chances, as he already had a BFD from day one, but undeterred he finished third in the final race to take second overall.

Third place went to Ollie Cooper of Hayling Island SC, who pulled himself up from sixth after day one. Cooper tied on points with Olly Porter of Lymington.

Ben Robinson of West Kirby SC suffered two BFDs and despite a fifth in the final race dropped from third after the first days racing to finish 14th overall.
