The J24 Canadian Championships are being held this year at the Port Credit Yacht Club in conjunction with the PCYC Open Regatta. There are 22 boats competing in the event, including boats from Halifax and Hudson. The boats were splashed Thursday July 8th for two successful practice races followed by a barbecue.

Racing began July 9th with light winds and a hot sun. The race committee was able to complete one race before the winds completely died. After baking out in the 27°C sun, racing was postponed on shore.
